The High Line Hotel Comments

  1. We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed by the aloof service and lack of amenities. The receptionist wasn’t particularly friendly or helpful. When we had a couple items delivered to the hotel since they don’t have room service, we were told to pick them up from the lobby ourselves as they wouldn’t bring anything up to our room. I had mentioned in the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and it was not acknowledged at all.

The room itself was beautiful and spacious, but sparse – not much besides a bed and some basic furniture, would expect more thoughtful touches from such a well rated hotel.

  2. One of my absolute favorite hotels in the city and I have tried most of them. The rooms are so precious and the furniture is stunning. Also maybe the comfiest bad I have encountered period, They provide the coziest robes and slippers, amazing coffee to greet you in the morning. Really gorgeous building in a great neighborhood. Oh and of course the staff was fantastic, especially the guys at the coffee bar.

  3. I would never stay here again! I received a call hour before my anniversary stay saying I was down graded from a suit to regular room. When I arrived the room was small bathroom sink broken, walls in the shower stained with mold, bathroom light super dim can’t see to do make up, old furniture trying to look hip and missing the mark. Only thing good is outdoor space for coffee!
