Amazing stay. Loved every bit of the room, wish I could remember the number to book for a later date. The balcony was absolutely phenomenal! Can’t wait to go again!
The hotel is over-rated and the rooms are small unless you happen to be famous and then a different experience occurs. One elevator is for guests and another is reserved for the rooftop bar/restaurant which does not allow guests to use unless you are special and then you can ride the special elevator. The noise level permeates through the walls and this includes all kinds of noise including the rooftop for exceptionally special people and any mischief that your neighbors are enjoying and any kind of special smoke that your neighbors are enjoying. When I stay in a hotel, I expect to have access to all areas because I , of course, am special, too. AN EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!
Abort. No valet, no bellman. No pool for guests – was never prompted to add and clearly not advertised that it’s not included. Young lady at desk had zero experience in service….I tried to take our own bags up on the cart (where they placed our bags) – and while she couldn’t offer assistance she literally ran after me into the elevator yelling at me that I couldn’t take the cart. No food. A ton of booze for purchase in the room but no coffee. Sink drain clogged. Shower liner ripped. Left after one night even tho I paid for two nights. I tipped the housekeeping well just because it’s not their fault the hotel is run poorly. I suppose if you’re looking for an hourly locale with a paid escort this is your spot.
After speaking to a rep it’s sad to say I won’t be able to enjoy this location because I refuse to pay $300+ for a room here and I can’t enjoy the amenities. If I can’t go to the rooftop and I have to pay $80 to enjoy the pool area then what’s the sense? People book hotels to enjoy the whole experience which includes the pool, rooftop and any area that’s on the property. Dream NYC lost a customer.
