Renaissance Barcelona Hotel Comments

  1. I use to go there years ago for their afterwork and loved the place and the view.
The rooftop feels cosy, well designed and you even have a waterfall on the wall.
I highly recommand their restaurant on the rooftop (Goja Experience)
Also loved the team there which contributes to make the experience even better

  2. We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience! We had the Mosaic Suite which was spacious, clean, and the beds were quite comfy. The best part was how friendly everyone was! They always had a smile on their face and would constantly ask if we needed anything (from reception to the outlets)! Would highly recommend!

  3. The room is beautiful and cool from the air conditioning; I had to turn mine down slightly. The bathroom is stonewalled and has a proper bathtub (unlike the shallow ones you find on hotels in the US). The breakfast has been COVID-19-adjusted; You have a look at what you want through the plastic screen, and the waitresses bring you what you choose—fruit, olives, tomato, yoghurt, ham, salami, cheese and fresh orange juice. There is also cooked alternatives, like eggs and bacon. The only complaint is the coffee machines. They are constructed by an engineer that hates coffee and thinks speed is more important than taste, and therefore the devices utilise a chemical concentrate rather than coffee beans. That said, the waitresses deserve your most profound respect as they offered me a proper cappuccino made by hand using another coffee machine. There is a rooftop bar that has a view over Barcelona. Here you can get cocktails and tapas. I tried a Gin and Tonic, but nothing spectacular. I think in 2021, wifi-access in hotels should be complementary.
