good location right in the middle of central and big room size with fairly cheap price. And you can watch Netflix on TV.
however the design of the bathroom is weird.
And pretty much the whole floor is sticky for some reason, they have pretty much no regards for hygiene whatsoever. The whole floor is untouchable, dirty and sticky. I simply have not been to a dirtier hotel room and I was left speechless.
You may think you have a small kitchen, but think again when everything is dirty, dusty and scratched up.
one afternoon we returned to the room and found a worker repairing the bathroom door without even telling us in advance.

Overall, Yins apartment Central is highly overrated.
Despite being waken up from a sweet dream in midnight when the ceiling felt down and caused noise, I am surprisingly “impressed” by the answer of the receptionist/housekeeping/whoever that “the ceiling always falls down, pls just pull it back”. What a shock!
More importantly, the in-room hearing was very environmentally friendly – to a point that it wasn’t working. With outdoor temperature at 10*C on 9th Jan 2021, the in-room temperature was more or less the same. Luckily, the housekeeper offered us a small heater so we could still sleep at night with a thin blanket, if not I was about to faint in this icy weather.
Besides, the renovation was of poor quality, with bulks and marks everywhere on the edge of walls and corners. Poor construction work, thanks for the limited budget, I guess.
In general, housekeeper and receptionist were friendly, just that sometimes they were not very responsive on phone during dinner time. Not sure if was because of the budget cut in hospitality that leads to inadequate labour issue.
Anyway, with HKD1k, I would rather go for alternatives with better room design and better service, at least with a better heater – here also recommends Fleming in Wan Chai, Bonham99 in Sheung Wan, and Ovolo in Wong Cheuk Han.
