Travelodge By Wyndham Las Vegas Center Strip Comments

  1. My recent stay at the Travelodge by Wyndham Las Vegas Center Strip was incredible in every way imaginable. The staff were all so compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, and hardworking. From the front desk staff, to housekeepers, and maintenance, all of my needs were met and exceeded over the course of my one week stay. Firstly, I paid less than $300 before taxes for a one week stay. I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Upon arriving, I was shocked by how central the hotel was. It is surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the strip. There truly was never a dull moment. The lobby is a small office located a few steps from the exterior corridors. When I arrived, the check in process was easy, and the host behind the counter was very professional. I was assigned room 126. It was a Standard Non-Smoking King Room. Upon entering my room, I was blown away by how comfortable and quiet it was. The bed was huge, and boasted newer linens and a comfortable mattress. The flat screen television worked well, and the refrigerator was a convenient touch for my longer stay. The air conditioner in the room was on borrowed time, and it did an okay job at keeping the room cool for the first few nights. Due to the rooms location, it was inundated by direct sunlight, which made the temperature even more undesirable. I called maintenance and was given a fan. It was an adequate resolution. The bathroom was dated, and had clearly seen better days, but most of the fixtures were functional. Unfortunately, the tub had a persistent problem with drainage. I called maintenance back to the room but there was not much he could do without undergoing a more long term project. These two issues were fairly minor, and did not majorly disrupt my stay. Unfortunately, on my fourth night, I returned from the pool to find a red liquid flooding the bathtub. It smelled like sewage. At that point, I reported to the lobby where I was issued an upgraded room. The second room I was moved to boasted an expansive and comfortable patio directly looking onto the pool area. The fixtures were beautiful. It was much more updated than my first room. The amenities at the property were convenient and ideal. A large room at the far end of the first floor exterior corridor boasts washing machines, dryers, vending machines, and a microwave, all for guest use. The pool area was absolutely beautiful, and a perfect way to unwind after a busy day on the strip. Everyday, housekeeping tended to my room, and provided fresh linens and amenities. The toiletries were of high quality, and the front desk provided more without hesitation. Parking is complimentary, but spaces can get limited, especially on the weekends. In terms of safety, there were a few incidences on the property during my stay. I did not feel unsafe during my stay, but remained vigilant and exercised common sense. You are in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, after all. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It is a fairly bare-bones experience, but provides a peaceful sanctuary for guests with excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to book here again on my next trip to Las Vegas!

  2. Reasonable rates for rooms. Free parking on site. Great location in the middle of the strip. No resort fee. Will stay here again.
