The Langham New York Fifth Avenue Comments

  1. My husband and I went to NY for our anniversary and we had such a great time. One of the concierge recommended we visit Hudson Yards and she was spot on. Accommodations were clean and really spacious. We were happy with our stay.

  2. I have to agree with the other reviewers, this hotel’s service is very poor and the interior shows wear/tear that I wouldn’t expect from a five star at this price level. The front staff was rude, and I don’t mean New York rude, I mean plain rude with no sense of hospitality whatsoever.
I got the empire view, and to put it plainly my previous (average) apartment in Manhattan had a much better view. You have to crane your neck to actually see the building, the pictures are pretty misleading. The lobby is probably the most unimpressive lobby I’ve seen in a hotel. I was here for a special occasion, and sad to say that this place was a mistake.

  3. Very nice hotel, very clean, very good location, very nice rooms. Best of all is the management (especially Erica! ????). We wanted a better accommodation and she bent backwards to make it happen. And that’s what matters; you want to make sure that the business cares for their customers’ satisfaction and that you’re not just a $. This is a winning business because they really care. I would reserve directly with the hotel (not 3rd parties, like Expedia), this way they can take care of any issues or dissatisfaction and you don’t have to go through 3rd parties who really don’t care.

  4. excellent customer service. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The room and view were very pleasant.
I liked the tub. Thank you, we will be back!
