The Langham London Comments

  1. I really recommend this hotel. First of all, the hygiene was so good. The room is well appointed and cleaned regularly. Personnel of the hotel was so helpful. The sympathy of all the staff is simply incredible. Breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Thank you for a lovely stay. Will definitely be back.

  2. Simply the best hotel in London. Excellent food and tea. Service is faultless. Staff are all kind and professional. Aesthetic and atmosphere is divine. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. I cannot recommend The Langham enough.

  3. Exactly as you would expect for true 5-star service, not the trendy race-to-the-bottom service you can sometimes get at the trendy boutique hotels. The front staff were very accommodating, the room itself was immaculately turned out, with views up and down the main Street outside from the good-sized windows. Access to the pool is booked via the spa service as they allocate 30-min segments, and the spa and massage services are likewise booked via a central booking system, either from a request at the front desk, or a quick phone call from your room. They have bicycles available to borrow, ample storage for luggage or shopping with the concierge and the location means you are strolling distance to most of key central/west london

  4. Went there for my birthday, the food was excellent and the cocktails were some of the best we ever had. But most importantly the service was absolutely lovely. From the lovely lady at the door to every single one of our waitresses and waiters. Marius, Alina and Ana were fantastic, kind and funny and always there to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you so much, you made my day brighter. Keep the good work.

  5. The revised pastry (British biscuits-inspired) makes this afternoon tea even better than it was before. And it was already great. Less sugary but amazing taste and variety for each pastry. My favorite was the apple. Plus the cheese scone addition too was nice. And as usual, the sandwiches and scones are perfect so glad those didn’t change. We will be back!

  6. Hotel is beautiful, as is to be expected of a London 5 star. Great location, rooms were beautiful with some lovely, fine touches. Staff are excellent. What let it down was the poor quality of the breakfast with poached eggs well under done. This couldn’t be rectified as to wait for a further breakfast to be cooked would have meant one of us eating alone. Hotel have kindly offered to upgrade us on our next visit and did waive the breakfast charge but it’s not really the point in such a luxury hotel. Dinner at Palm Court was lovely although the water which is served was warm. One again, not something you’d expect of a hotel of that standard. The Wigmore is worth a visit too – good cocktails and lunch menu.
HERE IS A PHOTO OF THE EGG – so that people can decide if it’s a case of undercooked egg (something that should never happen especially in a 5 star hotel) or whether, as the hotel manager has said here, it’s a case of it not being to my liking! Maybe the hotel should amend their breakfast menu to ensure that a choice of having an egg with a cooked white is available.

  7. The place the atmosphere was top tier and the food was as expected, amazing.

  8. From when I arrived at the Langham Hotel until I left they treated me like royalty. The food was nice and the rooms, especially the bed very comfortable. I am definitely going to go back there.
