Wonderful hidden gem just behind the hustle and bustle of the main sea front strip. The entrance is very well hidden though, so keep your eyes peeled! You have to walk down through a small alley between two restaurants to get to the hotel.
The owners are amazing, spoke little English but that wasn’t a problem. We were able to communicate just fine and they really were the most hospitable accommodating people you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble – moving furniture around so we could get the best view of the amazing bay from the terrace. We wanted an authentic Turkish meal away from the tourist traps, the owner’s daughter (who spoke English) was there and she asked her parents where would be good to go to. Her mother ended up walking us right to the restaurant (which was excellent by the way) so that we knew where we were going and how to get back. We chatted along the way, pointing at things and smiling, but we knew what each other meant. Such a great experience, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
The rooms were fantastic, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The blanket on the bed was a little scratchy but it was fine. Also the Turkish breakfast on the terrace was absolutely delicious! We will definitely stay at Sunset next time we visit Marmaris!

Lovely hotel with amazing location and restaurant, the room are very spacious and clean, make sure you get the castle room and the sea view with the balcony,, with authentic ottoman roof design. The restaurant food and service is perfect. The restaurant view is the best in town. I would like to thank arafat eren for taking care of everything we needed! If you need anything you talk to this guy. And the bar man onur dirikcan. Very lovely stay, will be back again.
