Rialto Unique Venice Experience Comments

  1. Every time I’m in Venice I stay only in this hotel for my personal reasons & memories.
But on the top of it, the hotel is really very well situated next to the Rialto bridge so you can enjoy its view day & night.
In the evening you can admire the lights of the restaurants in front of the hotel, but pay attention to timing: the lights will be switched off at about 1 a.m.
If your windows don’t face the channel, don’t miss the hotel’s terrace with the view the bridge. It has beautiful tables and flowers.

  2. Lovely location and views – we splashed out on the penthouse which had an incredible vista over the Rialto and along the Grand Canal. Front desk is quirky though helpful, lift tiny but to be expected when squeezed in to a historic building. Loved having breakfast out front watching the world go by.

  3. Giving this place one star is one star too many. I have been trying to get a refund for my hotel stay for months now. The hotel itself shut down and at first they said that my reservation was “non-refundable” despite it being impossible to stay at the hotel due to THEM closing their doors. Finally after threatening to dispute the charge to my card with my bank and post reviews of my experience they agreed to a refund but it would take 30 days to process because of the volume of refunds they needed to do. After 30 days they informed me that they could not refund my card and instead asked for my personal banking information via email to process the refund. I refused and asked for a check instead and low and behold they cannot offer a check refund. Do not recommend this hotels shady practices at all. I am now, 2 months later, going through the dispute process as they were not able to uphold their end of our agreement. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  4. This hotel was fine – nothing too special, nothing too horrible. The breakfast wasn’t great, looked like canned fruit packaged salami but it got the job done. The pillows were VERY flat and hotel wasn’t very accommodating in providing extra pillows and blankets. The blankets they were left in the room I wasn’t sure were clean so that was a negative. Hotel also had a strange smell to it. However; the location was phenomenal and is what allows the hotel to be rated 4 stars.
