Stayed for my anniversary in January and every minute of our stay was perfect. From easy valet and check in, to complimentary gifts in the room, to a relaxing Sunday at the pool with great service, the Mandarin did not disappoint. The rooms were spacious, clean and had great views of the bay and Brickell (I even saw manatees from the balcony in the morning). I would recommend to anyone who is seeking a relaxing stay with 5 star amenities and service, it is well worth the price.
Definitely a beautiful hotel. Check-in was smooth. We ended up with a room with a mini-balcony that didn’t fit chairs like most other rooms which was a bit disappointing. The pool was great but we were given a device to request food/drink service that no one actually responded to. Requested our room to be refreshed and that never happened. I just expect better from the Mandarin given experiences I heard about in Prague and Tokyo.
I’ve stayed at a lot of really lovely hotels, bu this place has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Everyone I dealt with at the front desk, bar, and pool were unbelievably nice. I was really blown away at how helpful the staff was, and it just always put me in a good mood when I got back from my outings. I would absolutely stay here again.
Excellent resort with amazing views of downtown. The room was impeccable, very clean and luxurious. Pool and hot tub were very nice. The restaurant La Mar was horrible, save your money. Major downside was $50 a night valet fee we were not informed of until checkout.
One of the best check in experiences ever. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Room very clean and ready early. After our horrible south beach experience only place I’m staying if I need to come back to Miami
