Great location close to variety of restaurants and bar. Very grand old building beautifully restored. Room was standard european size. We had booked the Deluxe King Room overlooking the hotel complex courtyard and would recommend this room especially the one on the top floor for amazing view. View from the river to the other side is just ok.
Service was limited due to social distancing measures so expect queue during check-in/check-out and long wait time when calling from your room. Breakfast menu/selection was also limited during our stay.
But given the hotel location – there are a lot of other options within walking distance.
Our stay as a Platinum Ambassador was very good. We got a very nice Upgrade and we really enjoyed every minute in the Hotel. The German speaking lady during Check-in was outstanding. Minor glitches were the availability of valet parking staff and the Limited offer at the breakfast due to covid. Thank you very much we will come again.
Stayed in executive room. Beautiful hotel, excellent service (!), very clean and safe. Noise from outside can be noisy at times.
Nice service and rooms
Beautiful, large rooms and a fantastic dome bar. The hotel has a fantastic history as what used to be a hospital. But don’t expect strong air conditioning or your room to ever cool down with such high ceilings and low air flow.
