Hotel Sentral Comments

  1. I’m not one who likes to leave a bad review. But I was here for a stay-cation a few weeks back. I can tell you, that might be the last time I ever book a stay here. Air-conditioning was noisy… in-house movie channel was grainy… bathroom light was blown out in the shower area… roaches here and there… I best stop there.

To the owners of the establishment, you run a hotel for God’s sake. At least have the decency to make the rooms look and feel like one.

  2. an inexpensive hotel near the KL Central transport hub. Clean, good breakfasts. Nearby, within walking distance, the Indian quarter – “little India”

  3. The room was not that satisfying. The First room we check in the air conditioner is not chilling. Very warm until get headache. After 2 times complain , change room, but heater not working.

  4. Have stayed here a few times with hopes that conditions will improve, but it remains not satisfactory.

Room AC is never cold and the bed made my skin itch almost every stay. Room was also quite musty upon check-in.

Policy of requesting deposits upon checking in seems to change from time to time (but it does get returned).

Called with the room phone three times but no one answered so I had to call with my mobile phone which eventually was answered. Told the receptionist that no one was answering but he doesn’t sound pleased nor does he seem to care. Asked for a towel and prayer mat but was met with noncommittal murmurs and sounds. Towel request was rejected and I waited for two hours but the prayer mat never arrived after all. Night shift male staff who took the call on 3 April 2021 is rude.

Power outlet are fewer (could be because it’s an older hotel) and doesn’t seem to provide adequate power supply as devices charged slower and some outlets don’t work at all.

I’ll give the star for your good price, strong water pressure and polite security staff.

  5. Cheap rooms, but still okay for sleeping in, nearest to shoplots, laundry, speedmart, econsave etc. Walking distance to kl sentral and kl monorail. Easy access to Grab. Okay for budget hotel.
