Hotel Savoia & Jolanda Comments

  1. During the global pandemic, they could not provide a service as all travel to Italy was not allowed, yet refused to refund our money!! How is this not theft?! If they are willing to use this practice, what will they do to you if you stay when they do open up?? Unbelievable!! Will be finding a local lawyer. They have broken EU law and obviously have the worst customer service policies in the industry. Other hotels have been good to work with hoping we remember and come back, which we will. Stay away from this one!!!

  2. Not recommended to stay in this hotel – 2 sleepless nights and not in a good way: first when we arrived we had to kill more than 10 mosquitoes, apparently we missed 2 which we had to kill off in the middle of the night. The second night, the power box next to the door started buzzing so loud that we had to switch it off – so no air condition (in August), no charging of phones at night and no light when in need of the bathroom. So after 2 troublesome nights, we get back to the hotel in the afternoon around 2 pm for a siesta and the room hasn’t even be cleaned yet! Going to the reception, they say it will be cleaned right away so we wait in the lobby just to find out 1 hour later that it still hasn’t been cleaned!
If you are looking for a hotel where you can sleep at night and the room is cleaned in a timely manner, this for sure is NOT the place. Disappointing!
At least it’s clean. Therefore, still 2 stars. But definitely not coming back.

  3. The staff listed to my needs and wishes and delivered the best possible experience for us. Location is the best.

  4. Good service and friendly waiters. Excellent breakfast and stunning views.

  5. We miss this place already, lovely location on The Grand Canal, plenty of Water transportation, great food, fabulous Staff and accommodations, plenty of shops and places to tour. Approx 1.1km from St Marco Square
