This hotel and staff exceed my expectations! Beautiful roof top with restaurant, pools and surrounding grounds were beautiful and well kept. Room clean with nice view – as described in our reservation. Location is also a plus! But the best part is the staff – friendly, helpful and professional!
I will definitely come back!
Stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is beautiful. We loved being able to stop by the mall anytime we were bored. Had a bit of an issue when checking out due to our own confusion, but staff was very helpful although it was our fault. Would definitely stay here next time we are in Miami.
Horrible customer service- staff is constantly confused and slow… and if you valet your car expect to wait 20 minutes for them to retrieve it- even with only a few cars ahead of you. We extended our stay via a travel agent and when we checked with the hotel staff we were told that was impossible cause the hotel was fully booked- other than a suite if we wanted to upgrade for an extra $1000… then told us she could only give us a key valid for 15 more minutes to go up and get our personal belongings- otherwise we would be charged half a day rate to stay until 4pm. We then checked out and took our bags- only to receive confirmation from the travel agent that the booking had in fact been extended earlier as we originally told the reception staff. Later that night we returned to the hotel and asked to check in since we had been told to check out before.. only to have a new staff member tell us that there were no new reservations in our names… so we insisted they give us new keys – went upstairs and found that our rooms had not been touched- we still had the same rooms. What a mess and an absolute hassle- the staff is apparently very confused by their computer system and they did not even offer a simple apology when we figured out what happened. I travel to Miami often on a large corporate account and I’m putting this one on the DO NOT BOOK list… too bad cause the location is great and the hotel was otherwise good… but the SLS across the street is just as convenient.. and far less confusing.
