Very very worst . Chemicals are added to water which we cannot use it for brushing also. There is no electric kettle in the room . Not even a dust bin . Very poor staffs . Nobody can understand English . Poor communication . Not child friendly. No wifi .
The hotel is conveniently located about 10 mins walk from the town centre… The sea views are lovely from the room balconys & restaurant/bar area…the stuff is friendly & helpful…the rooms are decent size with aircon & ceiling fan with lovely balcony& fridge..also has English channels on TV.. although the fan is a bit old & noisy…the bathroom looks good but the problem is there is no extractor fan or window in the bathroom… You also cannot drink the tap water so need to buy own bottled water…breakfast is buffet style but nothing spectacular…normal cereal, eggs & cold meats etc…
We spent 1 night at the Hotel Carina on our way Izmir and it was an absolute delight. The view of the water from the hotel is picturesque, the room was sparkling clean and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. If you stay, you’ll want to include the breakfast package because Layla and Hozi provide an amazing buffet style spread combined with hospitable customer service and great conversation/suggestions for our stay. Couldn’t be happier!
